Soldiers Honor Party at the Berthana a Great Success

A large wartime benefit at the Berthana honored soldiers sailors and marines with a reception and dance. Mrs Falck spoke for the Women of American Patriots praising loyalty and service, while gifts decorations and a fourteen pound silver ribbon cake drew crowd attention. Tea of Tuesday at Pleasant Affair

A Tuesday tea in the Inter est of the W. W. C. Wherry Tet is reviewed with splendid remarks. About three hundred guests attended the First Congregational church event in Caren. Decorations of tea roses and ferns graced the tables. Assistants included Mrs. Baradich and Miss Katherine Dixen among others. Mary Parmley and Gladys Rich led a musical program with vocal and violin performances. Refreshments were served in the afternoon and a musicale closed the gathering.

Card Club Hosts Mrs City and Mrs Woodcock Gathering

Mrs City alieon and Mrs Clyde Woodcock hosted a progressive party for their club last Thursday evening with tenors, flowers, and a birthday cake for Mrs Aitsan. Guests included Mr and Mrs Lanese Cherstrom, Mr Chester Wilcox, Mr and Mrs Edward Osborne, Mr and Mrs Mervin Shiow, Mr and Mrs Patterson, Mrs Bord Stevens, and Mrs Kate Miller among others. The event started with seating, songs, and dancing, then a late supper at the Alliven residence. The Thirteenth Ward religion club held a Christman party with Mr and Mrs George Rivnham and Miss Glenna Feit among attendees, thirty-two members enjoyed catees and dancing, with refreshments served.

Maytor J Healy Hosts Club Event At University Club
