In Pittsburgh 3000 striking motormen and conductors resume service after a two week stoppage. They voted to abandon the strike and will return to work at a wage increase of five cents an hour, as set by the national labor board. The Amalgamated Association will reopen negotiations for the full 60 cent hour scale within a week. About 1000 strikebreakers were sent to Los Angeles to aid in breaking the strike.
