Forest fire threatens several buildings near Missoula

In Missoula Montana on August 18 a fast moving forest fire near Rakieenaki Villey menaces twenty buildings. About 200 forest fire fighters were rushed to the scene to battle the blaze as winds shift. The report notes urgent action to protect the area. The second item announces the Ladies Auxiliary of the Spanish War Veterans hosting a watermelon party at Mrs. Caroline Martingen home, 265 Ninth Street, Thursday evening.

Weber County Farmers Tour Yellowstone and Idaho
