Canon City Col Aug 10 James Armstrong a convict who fled in the recent jail break hanged himself in his cell last night a dimmy was arranged but the body was not found for hours. He fashioned a noose from electric light wire. Armstrong a feared criminal was wanted in Utah for murder and was serving ten years for burglary. He killed a Chinese man near Ogden.
