Seals Oust the Beavers in Rainy Portland Tilt
In Portland on April 29 San Francisco defeated Portland 9 to 5 as the Seals ousted the Beavers in a muddy game. Lanky batters and a downpour kept crowd numbers low while Caliph O'Doul and Oldham split duties for the visitors and Penner started for Portland. Oldham earned the win. Leake took the loss as errors were few despite the wet ground.
