Weather record shows drier season than 1906
Dr. F I Seeley reports the current season has 8.5 inches of precipitation from January 1 to now, versus 12.74 inches in the 1906 game period. All months in 1907 except June show lower rainfall, with heavy rains arriving later each year. Farmers welcome the drought break and foresee better crops if dry, warm weather persists.
