Mrs. Ferguson died in Mayo Hospital Rochester on December 3 following surgery. Her funeral was held Sunday at 2 PM from her home, Rev. Dwin Thayer reports from Burt on a muskrat skin boom with 25 000 skins seen at Daw son and Trainers store and 55 mink hides. Buyers pay 15 to 22 cents per muskrat, boosting local hunting and farming profits. Hunters use spears through thin ice to spear muskrats, then skinning and processing continues. Three men collected 319 muskrats in three days, with one man taking 160 in a day during a spring freshet.
