Death of L. W. Huston Shocks Putnam County Residents
L W Huston, a longtime Putnam County resident, died Saturday evening at Kirkville from a brain tumor. His body was shipped home Sunday afternoon. Survived by a wife and three children, he was 72. Funeral held Monday in Unionville Christian church conducted by Rev. R. E. Prunty. An obituary will follow next week.

Four Buildings Destroyed By Lucerne Fire

Family Reunion Honors Mrs Morgan On Birthday
A large gathering at the home of Mr and Mrs Allen Morgan celebrated Mrs Morgan's birthday Sunday November 16 with many relatives present. All children attended except one son in Minnesota and twelve grandchildren joined in the meal. The group departed about 4 pm after brief good wishes.
