Chautauqua Stock Board Hears Assembly Plans
The board of directors met Monday and organized the group by electing officers. They tentatively plan a Chautauqua Assembly for the week of September 3 if arrangements can be made, else they may pursue incorporation and a bigger event next year. Subscriptions for stock show broad support from many local figures and firms.
