Roundup man killed in Montana auto crash buried in Unionville
The body of Frank Tysor of Unionville was brought back for burial after a June 15 1914 accident near Roundup Montana that also involved Alva Harris. Tysor born April 18 1868 in Ohio lived in Putnam county Missouri before four Montana years. He was a teacher a Sunday school organizer a church member and leaves a 18 month old son Joé LeRoy his parents two brothers and two sisters. Funeral was held at Frank Statton's home Unionville conducted by Rev James R Harper. The body laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery by I C O F Lodges of St John and Unionville. A curious report describes a lower jaw bone found on premises near Gloson property in Cassady’s town. Most teeth remained, though some decayed. no other bones were located and the origin of the jaw remains unknown.

O'Bryants Visit, Rich in Early Unionville Press History
Mr. and Mrs. W. T. O'Bryant of Quincy Illinois visit local relatives this week. He founded the Unionville Republican in 1865 starting with three hundred dollars for type and a hired helper. After ten years he sold it for a New Century, later entering mail service. he recalls vast changes in the plant and the work still done by machines. He and his wife plan to return home next Friday.

Senator J E Ford Announces Candidacy for State Senate
The Republican reports Senator J E Ford of Grundy county announcing his bid for a second term in the Fourth District State Senate. Ford, born on a Grundy county farm and educated at Kirksville State Normal School and State University, has served in the legislature since 1906 and as speaker pro tem. He authored the county supervision law and the Presidential Preference Primary bill, among about thirty other measures, with roughly half becoming law. He plans to renew the primary bill fight if elected.

Mrs. Roe Seriously Injured in Ole-Outing Rifle Accident
Mrs. Frank Roe aged 84 formerly of this city now residing in Fulton Missouri was accidentally shot while on an outing with her husband and children. A rifle discharged striking her neck leaving her paralyzed and in critical condition though hopeful for recovery. The Roe family has lived in Fulton for two to three years.
