John D Stargell Dies at Home Southwest of Powersville
John D. Stargell died at his home southwest of Powersville at 10 o’clock Tuesday after a stomach ailment. The 55 year old veteran had been confined to bed for about two months. He is survived by a wife who died last spring and two sons and a daughter living on the home farm. Funeral services will be held at 4 this afternoon conducted by Rev. Bone, with burial at Wyreka cemetery. J D Stargell was a longtime local resident and farmer.
