Omer Jay Pickett Hurt In Iowa Car Crash Fire
Omer Jay Pickett age 24 son of Mr and Mrs Garfield Pickett living near Unionville suffered brain concussion neck back and internal injuries in a Tuesday night crash on the Newton Reasnor road near Newton Iowa. His car burst into flames and plunged down a 12 foot embankment after hitting a washed out section. John Ball found him unconscious but removed from the car as the fire spread. Pickett was returning to Reasnor to visit friends and was rushed to Skiff Memorial hospital where doctors said he was much improved the following afternoon.

Two Hurt in Galesburg Illinois Car Collision
