Ukiah Football Clinic Invites Local Youth to Training Session

Ukiah youngsters are invited to a free grid football clinic at the stadium. Coach Tatum and staff will demonstrate fundamentals including stance blocking tackling and passing, with Pave Strong and Con Deering guiding offense and defense. Cepeda Mays Set Club Records in Giants Win

Orlando Cepeda powered the San Francisco Giants to a 10 2 win over Philadelphia driving in four runs to reach 140 on the season and move into second on the club RBI list behind Mel Ott. Willie Mays scored three times to a personal best 126 RBIs as Mike McCormick won his 13th, and rookie John Orsino homered twice in a day of late season milestones.

Olson to Meet Rodgriges in 10-Round Rematch

The San Francisco Seals hockey team opened training camp in Chilliwack with 24 players, including 11 professionals and 13 amateurs.
