Ukiah police officer Ken Budrow inspects Richard Edwards bicycle as part of the annual bike safety program run with California Highway Patrol. Log crash kills 57 year old logging truck driver near Covelo
A 57 year old logging truck driver, Robert Eddie Croxton Jr. of Covelo, was killed instantly when a log rolled off his loading truck on Willow Creek Road at 8 a.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene by coroner's deputies. He is survived by his wife Margaret Croxton of Lebanon Oregon. Arrangements are handled by Anker Lucier Mortuary in Willits.
