Ukiah Council revises sewer and water hook up charges
Ukiah city council introduced two revised ordinances raising future sewer hook up fees and costs for water transmission storage production and treatment. The vote on the measures showed dissent from Councilman Gary Weinkauf over a 214 to 1 disparity between single and multiple dwelling sewer connections. A third capital charge ordinance was tabled for six months as city and opponents seek firmer cost projections. The council also tabled renewal details for the Ukiah Valley Trap Club lease and approved bids to develop Oak Manor park and landscaping.
