Public hearing set on Orchard Plaza Center plans in Ukiah
Ukiah planning commission holds its second public hearing on the final environmental impact report for the Orchard Plaza Shopping Center to be built on 8.26 acres along Orchard Avenue. The project by Codding Enterprises includes a drug store, market, bank, offices and shops with parking for about 475 cars and landscaping. Empire office equipment, a 25 percent investor in the project, will move its School Street store to a 10,000 square foot plaza location, adding departments for office supplies, machines and furniture and expanding staff.
