Lake County Fair Opens with Memorial and Weekend Events

The Lake County Fair opens honoring Floyd Baldwin former manager with a memorial fountain. Public interviews to choose county assessor urged by DA

California tax relief heads toward passage in Assembly

In Sacramento the $46 billion homeowner and renter relief package backed by Gov Brown cleared an initial Assembly vote 57 to 18 but final passage stalled as Republicans demanded Senate results. The measure would return rebates of 550 million to homeowners and 285 million to renters in the first year amid debate over future tax impact.

Reeves Canyon plan presented to Planning Commission
