Ukiah Wildcats held Marin Catholic to two touchdowns as offenses struggled on a wet field. Heavy Casualties After Northern California Deer Hunt

At least two hunters were killed and nine wounded during an either sex deer hunt in Sierra Nevada country. One man died from a neck wound, another from a heart attack, while searchers later ended hope for missing hunter James Davis. Unbeaten Teams Fall In Blackest Weekend

The college football season’s blackest weekend reduced unbeaten records to 35 percent with only six major teams remaining untouched. New Haven Conn United Press report says Tull Yorzyk Olympian and pre medical student from Springfield Mass swam 1 minutes 02 1 seconds in Yale 51 meter pool to set an American long course record for the 100 meter butterfly.
