Frazier to Box Eddie Machen on November 18

Los Angeles UPI reports Joe Frazier remains focused on earning a title shot against Cassius Clay by meeting Eddie Machen at the Olympic Auditorium on November 18. The 23-year-old, 1964 Olympic heavyweight champion, has won 12 straight, 11 by knockout, since turning pro 18 months ago. Machen, 34, a crafty Berkeley fighter with a 49-8-3 mark, has beaten rising challengers and challenged the young Frazier with a seasoned style.
