Elena Khrushcheva Dead at 35 in Moscow

New Irish Beach Development Plans Public Hearing

The planning commission will consider acceptance of a tentative map for a development south of Irish Beach three miles north of Manchester and hold a public hearing at 3 30 p m. on Thursday. A use permit for William Buss amusement park on Low Gap Road near N State Street is set for 10 30 a.m. The Moores project includes single family lots condominiums and recreation and open space. The board has approved a land use element and will grant zoning changes and a use permit at a public hearing on Oct 17. The commission will reconvene Oct 19 after missing last Thursday due to a planners conference in Eureka.
