SKYKOMISH Washington six members of a family the father mother two sons and their wives were killed in a Cascade Mountains charter plane crash. The single engine craft likely chartered for a fishing trip sheered off tree tops then plunged to earth and burned. Victims include Austin and Marge Carpenter of Little River California their son Dave and wife Sue of Encinitas California their son Peter and wife Trudy of Eugene Oregon and the pilot Greg Thompson 25 of Kenmore Air Harbor. Federal officials investigated the crash which occurred in good weather.

A 1969 green two door Rambler with license YUM 210 owned by Linda M Carey 17 of School Way was stolen from in front of her Redwood Valley residence Sunday between 7 30 p m and midnight. The car valued at 900 dollars and the theft is reported by the sheriff s office. An Angwin man reported the loss of 580 dollars worth of skin diving gear last Friday from the Simpson Lane area Fort Bragg. Walter Fox reported as victim. No further details available.
