UCLA Star Gerry McDougall Jailed in Burglary Case

UCLA halfback Gerry McDougall, 21, and an associate were jailed in Los Angeles on suspicion of burglary after allegedly taking a radio, record player, and $6 from a girl’s apartment near the campus. McDougall admitted taking items but called it a prank and planned to return them. He and a co-defendant were held for further questioning while an investigation continued.
