Wilt the Stilt Shines in Warriors debut tilt

Wilt Chamberlain led the Philadelphia Warriors to a 106-102 victory over the St. Louis Hawks in Los Angeles. He scored 28 points as Paul Arizin and Bob Pettit added 26 each. The arena drew 12,443 fans and the Warriors led 49-14 at halftime.

Ukiah High Tennis Courts Closed For Finishing Work

The high school tennis courts will be closed today Saturday and Sunday for a final topping. Erick Bralich of the Ukiah high school athletic department says courts will be ready for play Monday.
