Traffic crash reports over holidays on Redwood highway
Patrolman Warren Ingram reported a holiday traffic crash on Redwood highway 414 miles north of Willits. Richard Gladden of Fortuna and Elmer Schrage of Willits were northbound in heavy traffic when Schrage pulled out and was forced back by an oncoming car. Gladden’s Chevrolet coupe hit Schrage’s GMC pickup. Gladden cited for excessive speed under travel conditions. No injuries were reported.

Three members of a Siskiyou County family were sentenced to state prisons by Judge Hale McCowen for second degree burglaries at O C Gladding and Jessie Milley residences near Albion Ridge in August and September.
