Stacy Brown, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Brown, was named 1976 Willits Junior Miss at the dedication of the new Community Center. Evelynne Lee Petre was first runner up and Molly Frenzel second runner up, with awards for poise, appearance, and scholastic achievement. The event featured two musical performances by master of ceremonies Al Canepa and Lee Elliott, plus Willits High School Stage Band and chorus.
