Brooks' committee key to revenue sharing fate
Mendocino County Supervisor Burgess Williams said the fate of federal revenue sharing rests with a House government operations panel led by Texas Congressman Jack Brooks who opposes the program. Williams met with California senators and representatives on Capitol Hill and warned that without action by January 31, 1976 funding could end in December.
