Funeral services for Robert Bartolomie 87 a Napa native and long time Fort Bragg resident will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Can Narr Fairlee Funeral Home Fort Bragg He died Saturday at a convalescent hospital after years there He came to Fort Bragg in 1906 and was predeceased by his wife in 1918 Surviving are sons Reno Ukiah Ernest Orinda a daughter Bette Berkeley and numerous grandchildren and two great grandchildren
Nevada man Jimmy O'Dell Thrasher, 21, of Henderson, received a five day suspended sentence and a five day mandatory jail term with two year probation after a Superior Court judge sentenced him for drunk driving. He was arrested Friday by sheriff's deputies and booked at the county jail.
