Civil Defense to Test Statewide Emergency Net
Lee Trowbridge of the Mendocino county office of civil defense announced today that 108 California radio stations will take part in a nationwide test of Conelrad early Wednesday morning November 17. Listeners can tune to the emergency network between 1 30 and 4 30 a m by dialing 640 or 1240 on their radios. During the three hours the air will be cleared of all broadcasting except from those stations in the Conelrad system.
