Ukiah High Plans Wrestling and Basketball Schedule

Ukiah teams prepare for a busy slate with basketball games against Arcata Santa Rosa and Willits, and a wrestling season opener under Coach Bill Tatum. The schedule includes 11 dual meets, NBL tournaments, and trips to Vallejo Fort Bragg Napa Santa Rosa and Lakeport with games and dates from December through February.

A quirky UPI note from Lusaka cites a government recipe to reduce elephant numbers by soaking and parboiling feet. In the NBA, San Francisco widened its Western lead as Los Angeles slipped to 6-6 with a 118-110 loss to Philadelphia amid a blackout that briefly threatened the St. Louis New York game.
