Pegler Wife Julia Pegler Dies in Rome

Julia Pegler 52 wife of American newspaper columnist Westbrook Pegler died of a heart attack while vacationing in Rome with her husband. She was formerly Julia Harpman a top reporter on the New York Daily News. The couple married August 28 1922 and planned to fly her body to New York en route to Tucson Arizona. An estimated 400000 Americans have active tuberculosis.

Tidal waves caused by earthquakes, says Boston museum

The Boston Museum of Science states tidal waves are created by ocean floor earthquakes. These quakes generate enormous waves that can reach up to 100 feet in height when they hit the shore.
