Postman Escapes Fire After Rural Truck Crash in Potter Valley
Postman Charles M Berry, 40, of Potter Valley, was pulled from a burning 1972 three axle pickup by a passerby after his truck left Eastside Potter Valley Road and struck a bridge abutment. He suffered minor injuries. the vehicle and mail were damaged as fire was extinguished. The crash occurred around 7 10 a m Monday, with foggy weather and forecast warmer days in Northwestern California.
