Kathleen Cain 24 of Lucerne was kidnapped and assaulted during an alleged rape attempt after leaving a bar in Upper Lake. The suspect, described as a Mexican man in his 20s, forced her to drive, disrobed her, and blindfolded her before fleeing in her 1962 Corvair with two cases of beer and $57 taken.
