Ukiah police logged damage to at least ten vehicles in Grave Street and the 1300 block of S Dora Avenue last night. Homes and businesses reported single BB or pellet holes in windshields with one case showing two holes as dawn reports continued.

Leo Bleier of RLV killed himself behind his store shortly after 9 30 this morning despondent after Wednesday arrest on morals charges involving two teen girls. He was jailed briefly, posted bail, and died en route to hospital. services pending at Eversole Mortuary. He had lived in Redwood Valley 28 years and built the local modern food store in 1949. Surviving: son Leo Bleier Jr, sister in Albuquerque, and his ex-wife Mynva Bleier.
