Mendocino County backs grant plan for juvenile program
The Mendocino County board approved a resolution of support for a juvenile delinquency prevention program. N State Street to Receive Bridge Facelift Near Ukiah
The N State Street road, once Highway 101, will get a minor facelift to aid the daily flow on the northern Ukiah alternate route. Bids for the Hensley Creek bridge reconstruction north of Ukiah open April 17 in Sacramento, creating a three span concrete flat slab bridge 40 feet wide with two five foot walkways. The $171,000 project funds include $54,199 county share with the rest from state and federal sources. Designed by Mendocino County public works under Budge Campbell, work should start in May and finish by early fall, with a detour east of the site.
