Eureka Democrat Barry Keene announced from Sacramento he will run again for the 2nd Assembly District. He defeated Gary Antolini in 1972 to succeed Frank Belotti and will make a formal announcement from Eureka. Redistricting moved Pel Norte Lake area and northern Humboldt into the district while removing Santa Rosa and Sonoma County. Willits Teachers Accept Board Salary Offer
