Ukiah Players Dominate All-NBL Basketball Honors

Ukiah placed one man on the All-NBL I Varsity and one on the B second team, plus a Varsity player on Honorable Mention. Terry Marsha made the first team after an uneven season and injuries, while teammate Terry D narrowly missed the second team. Dennis Cooper led Ukiah in B scoring, Donalson missed first team by a whisker, and Crow earned top rebounds under tough paint. Strike in Playoff Threat Shocks NBA Nation

Kirkman KOs Leroy in 2:23 of 10th round

Spokane based heavyweight Boone Kirkman battered light heavy Irish Leroy twice before a scheduled 10 round bout ended by TKO at 2:23. Leroy, 194 pounds, Oakand Calif., was cut above the eye. Ukiah Little League Seeks 1967 Plans and Meetings

Ukiah hosts two meetings for 1967 baseball programs. South Ukiah Little League aims to finalize teams sponsors and managers at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Ukiah Police Station. Friday at 7 30 p.m. in the County Library, Pony and Colt League parents managers coaches and officials discuss formation and post season tournaments at Anton Stadium plans.
