Kroh Enters Willits Sheriff Coroner Race

Casper Cap Kroh a Willits police officer and former deputy sheriff announced his candidacy for sheriff coroner in the June 7 primary. He served in World War II Normandy and Okinawa, lives on Center Valley Road with his wife Jerline and five children, and has four years as resident deputy sheriff plus prior service as a Willits officer.

Motorist Trapped Hour in Pickup At Van Arsdale

Welton Edward Trumble a Romer Ranch resident 53 suffered major chest and rib injuries when his pickup ran off the road and hit a tree then rolled trapping him about 300 feet south of the Van Arsdale Dam He survived after a passerby found him and highway patrol rushed blood from the blood bank to Hillside Community Hospital.

Terrorist grenade wounds two British soldiers in Aden suburb

In Aden a hand grenade attack on a patroling British army jeep wounded two soldiers. The troops returned fire injuring an Arab. It marked the first terrorist incident since mid January.

Laws May Win No Chance this Year For Redwood Park
