YREKA UP I reports a thunderstorm sparked more than 100 spot fires across Siskiyou County Tuesday night. A Yreka home was struck with one injury. Most blazes burned in pine and scrub on Klamath National Forest, with fires reported along lower Scott River Seiad and Yreka districts. A helicopter airlifted two men to the isolated Scott River fire 35 miles southwest of Yreka.
