Giants Stranded In Doubleheader Losses On West Coast Trip

The San Francisco Giants opened a 13 game road swing with two losses to Atlanta in a doubleheader. Mike McCormick was set to start against Don Sutton as the Giants stranded 18 runners in the two games. Hank Aaron homered twice in the nightcap to fuel the Braves. Help Wanted for Course Sprinkler System Work

Volunteers with pipe wrenches or shovels will meet at Ukiah Municipal Golf Course at 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday to install a new electronic fully automatic sprinkler system.
