County study urges container stations for solid waste
EMCON Associates proposes 12 container stations across the county and two landfills to replace curb pickup. The plan, funded by the county and EPA, requires about 1 million dollars over three years with annual operating costs around 63 thousand dollars. Public hearings are set for September in Ukiah and the coast.
