City Is Asked For Fence At Fairgrounds
Five directors and the manager of the 12th District Agriculture Association appeared before the City Council to press for a fence and gate along the south boundary of the Fairgrounds from N State Street to Mazzoni Road. They argued Mazzoni Road’s use as access creates a nuisance due to hot rodders and referenced a 10 year old city easement requiring fencing. The city attorney said no binding agreement existed. The matter was referred to Works Director Al Kruth for study and report at the next meeting.
