San Francisco pounded Pittsburgh 6 4 with Willie Stargell and Maury Wills keying a seventh inning rally. Alou homered and drove in five runs as Bob Veale struggled, allowing seven hits and seven runs in five frames. Giants also announced the purchase of Ty Cline from Atlanta. Soccer Games Close In National Professional League Ties
