Musial Williams Named All Star Startlers in L A

Second Big Check Given to Stokes

Maurice Stokes Cincinnati Roy als star paralyzed for over a year and a half received his second check from fans. Jack Twyman presented $6,246 from the Pittsburgh Basketball Writers Assn. and the NBA previously gave over $10,000 from a Cincinnati Garden benefit. Donations exceed two thousand dollars more. Stokes, guardian Twyman said, remains in therapy at Christ Hospital and faces a long road to recovery after a hard head injury and collapse in 1958.
