Ukiah edged Boonville 4 3 in extra innings to complete a double header sweep and strengthen first place in the Mendo Lake Sonoma Semi Pro League. The Ukiah Dolphins lost to Mayette Swim Club on Friday in a full-strength meet but gained experience. On Saturday they defeated Napa by more than a two to one margin. Highlights will air later. the next swimfest is the Class B AAU meet at Santa Rosa July 31 to August 1.

Ukiah Pony League All Stars to Open Northern Tourney at St Helena

Ukiah Pony League All Stars face Lake County in the second game of the northern area tournament at St Helena on Thursday night around 8 p.m. The opener at 6 p.m. features host Napa Valley All Stars versus Redwood Empire at Windsor.
