A former Lockheed official, Henry Durham, alleges missing parts and falsified installation reports on the C5A transport, claiming officials ignored his warnings and that audits showed widespread discrepancies. Mendocino County Forms Fish Rescue Service

A Mendocino County group operates the Mendocino County Fish Rescue Service to save steelhead trout from streams with low water. Funded by local fish and game fines, the service responds to calls about dying trout, identifies issues with rough fish, and educates landowners on fingerling appearance. Funeral services for Joseph Stanley in Calpella

Funeral services were held for 89 year old Joseph Stanley of Calpella at Eversole Mortuary. Rev. Ken Hewitt officiated with burial in Ukiah Cemetery. Stanley, a retired electrician, died Thursday at his home while living with his son. He is survived by a brother Charles Stanley of Alturas.

Paul Murray services set in Willits cemetery

Graveside services are planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Willits Cemetery for Paul H. Murray 68 who died Friday in a San Francisco hospital. A native of Engravo California he had lived in Willits about a year. Survived by daughter Nancy Arthur Cornville Arizona and two grandchildren. Anker-Lucier Mortuary directed.

Drunk Driving Arrests Reported by CHP Over Weekend

Three drivers were arrested by the California Highway Patrol for drunk driving. Bobby Dean Martin, 31, of Santa Rosa, was taken into custody Sunday after a stop on Highway 101 south of Willits. Saturday arrests included Katherine L. Gehring, 28, of Novato near the freeway and Talmage Road, and Robert Henry Everson, 21, of Alameda stopped on Burke Hill south of Ukiah.

Rotary Fly In stalls feed fans and fans toast sunshine

The Sun day Rotary Fly In drew a large crowd in hot weather. Breakfast planned double the prior year, with heavy sausage and maple syrup usage and extra orders to meet demand. A church suggestion moved fly-overs to after church, improving Sunday worship timing.

Misplaced items and arrests roll through local county blotter
