Ukiah man held on kidnap and assault charges
Ukiah police arrested 24 year old William Randolph Hines on Saturday on charges of assault with intent to commit bodily harm and kidnapping after allegedly abducting a 22 year old woman from a Safeway parking lot. The victim fled the vehicle and was treated for a broken nose and injuries at Community Hospital. A 14 year old boy provided the license plate information as the suspect fled.
