Jury Deliberations Open in Sperber Murder Trial
A Superior Court jury began deliberations in the murder case of 30 year old Raymond Sperber from Washington. Sperber is charged with killing 44 year old Jane Ann Short of Eureka whose body was found in a rock covered grave near James Creek west of Willits last May. The defense and prosecution rested Friday before Judge Timothy O'Brien and jurors chose to deliberate today. Sperber was arrested in Sheridan Wyoming last June with the trial having opened January 17.
