A UPI dispatch reports a column of armored vehicles moving through central Bolivia as government forces aim to crush a five day peasant rebellion in Cochabamba Province. Peasant leaders claimed 20 000 campesinos backing the revolt and took hostage an army general who sought to end the uprising.
