Ukiah squad topped Napa 5 4 in a clash at Chesau Gym with early 11 0 advantage from Pete Jacobsen and Rick Spagnola wins. Napa fought back to tie, but Ukiah countered with Eby Chambers and Dahl wins while Lolis of Napa edged Ado in a dramatic finish.

Ukiah battled through a crowded match with Napa stars. Engebritson pinned Kilian of Napa after a 14 0 lead, Kinman fought off early takedowns for a second period reversal then a pin, Leland dropped a decision, Naatgraben pinned his foe in the first period, and Weigand and Roark won by forfeits and quick pins as Ukiah prepared for Rohnert Park and Willits with the NBL finals looming at Montgomery and Del Valle February 25.

AFL All Stars Vie In Oakland All Star Game

AFL All Star rosters for the Oakland Coliseum game feature West vs East with notable players from the Chiefs, Patriots, Jets and other clubs. Johnny Majors and Vince Lombardi staff the West and East camps as about 28,000 fans are expected for the nationally televised showdown. The West, led by Len Dawson and Lance Alworth, faces the East with stars such as Otis Taylor and Gino Cappelletti in a revamped 15-play offense and defensive schemes.

Draft Board Chairman Supports Cassius Clay Case

J Allen Sherman, longtime chairman of Local Draft Board 4, rejects Clay's ministerial deferment. Church League games limit youth admission to accompanied adults

Recreation Director Dave Strong announced that no student below high school grade will be admitted to Bomplita cion Ukiah Valley Church League basketball games without an adult chaperone. The policy follows vandalism and locker room damage caused by older students who entered dressing rooms during Pomoilta Church League events and Saturday recreation.

Oakland Boat Show Opens Ten Day Exhibit Run

The Oakland Coliseum hosts its first Boat Show today starting a 10 day run with more than 400 sail and power craft exhibits in the arena and exhibit hall. Doors open weekdays 4 p.m to 10 30 p.m Saturdays 11 a.m to 10 30 p.m and Sundays 11 a.m to 7 p.m. Last year the show was at the San Francisco Auditorium.
