Thomas Mon Pere, 32, of the Bay Area, is named director of North Coast Opportunities succeeding Roy Garlit who resigned last December. Garlit will aid as consultant until Feb 10, with Mon Pere assuming duties Feb 1 at a salary of 14000 dollars per year. Mon Pere has served as regional representative for the Office of Economic Opportunity in San Francisco and previously with the CEO in Arizona.
